Workshop of the DFG Research Unit 926
The Endocannabinoid System: From Physiology to Pathophysiology
June 18-19, 2010, Bonn, Germany
The endocannabinoid system consists of endogenous lipid signaling molecules, their receptors, and biosynthetic and metabolizing enzymes. The system is an important mediator of homeostasis, affecting almost every organ of mammalian organisms.
Leading experts will discuss their latest findings of the role of the endocannabinoid system in health and disease.
Each session includes oral presentations from invited speakers and from selected participants.
The top three presentations and the top three posters from young investigators will receive an award and 500 EUR prize money
